R.I.S.To.VET – Students from I.T.E.T Rapisardi-Da Vinci school learn about the project

On the 27th of April 2022 students from I.T.E.T. Rapisardi-Da Vinci, based in Caltanissetta (CL), had the opportunity to learn more about the R.I.S.To.VET – Rural Innovative Sustainable Tourism for VET project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, project number 2019-1-PL01-KA202-065682, whose general objective is developing, structuring and sharing professional knowledge in the field of contemporary tourism.

The consortium of the project is composed by WSBINOZ – WYZSZA SZKOLA BIZNESU I NAUK O ZDROWIU (Poland), VVTA – Living Stone Dialoog, ViaVia Tourism Academy (Belgium), ILI – FRIEDRICH-ALEXANDER-UNIVERSITAET ERLANGEN NUERNBERG (Germany), Co.Net – COWORKING E NETWORKING SICILIA APS (Italy), Ergasia Ekpaideftiki Anonymi Etaria (Greece) and CEIPES – International Centre for the Promotion of Education and Development (Italy), who are cooperating for the correct, coherent and effective implementation of project activities.

In the framework of the second Intellectual Output produced by the R.I.S.To.VET project, project managers from CEIPES went to the school to meet students of one of the classes studying in the touristic field, to make them aware about the project, its aims, objectives and results, as well as testing one of the modules that has been created by the project consortium. Students and teachers have appreciated the efforts made by the project, since it addresses topics that generally are not covered in national curricula and, still, are crucial to deliver professional education which is up-to-date and effective in the contemporary working scenario.

Students and teachers also had the opportunity to learn more not only about the project, but also about the Erasmus+ Programme and the opportunities related to the financing programme. In general, students and teachers were satisfied about this opportunity and also showed interest on the cycle of webinars which is going to be held until the 7th of June 2022.
