THE GAMIFICATION OF EMPLOYMENT II – The real game started
On 13th of January the real game started. The coordinator ASPAYM and the co-partners – CEIPES, AICSCC, ROSTO SOLIDARIO and the European University Miguel de Cervantes S.A. – held the kick-off meeting of the ‘The Gamification of Employment II (2021-1-ES02-KA220-YOU-000028595) project online, due to Covid-19 restrictions. Nonetheless, the vivid enthusiasm helped overcome the distance and made the interaction fruitful.
Based on the positive success of the first edition – The Gamification of Employment –, the project aims to develop, testing and implementing innovative practices to foster youth reskilling and upskilling processes to address digital transformation through the gamification methodologies.
The project is planned on a two-years timeline (01/12/2021 – 01/12/2023) by which the expected outcomes are the following:
- Innovative virtual learning ecosystem, in which the target group will be able to update and deepen their knowledge in those capacities identified as key to boost digital transformation and enhance the employability of youth.
- A virtual supplementary manual to facilitate the use of the same methodology by other youth workers.
The meeting discourse was divided in two main chunks: firstly, it was focused on the overall project plan, objectives, and organisation; then, it moved to set the first phase tasks and deadlines meticulously. It was a very important moment of participation and sharing, to align all partners mindset and agenda.
