From the 8th to the 12th of April 2024, CEIPES ETS has participated to the staff formation held by ShipCon in Valencia, Spain. The formation was focused on how to Train Trainers, thus dealing with all aspects that a training session should involve, ranging from strategies for the trainer to team building exercises. The techniques that were introduced, together with ice-breakers, energisers, and activities, were made to be as horizontal as possible, useful for any type of training that could be held by the staff involved in the formation in their career.
The training was although designed to also give tools that adapted to the different kind of contents and targets that a training can have, recreating some possible situations that may occur in several working fields. Indeed, participants role played 5 possible scenarios that included difficult elements (linguistic issues, profile, or role of the trainees etc.) and showed them to the rest of the group, imagining to be presenting to a company, to university staff, to students and several more.
Being the nature of the training multidisciplinary, among the other aspects dealt with, participants had the opportunity to see how to face presentations, pitching, and expository monologues. By observing professionals at work, it was also possible to realise which aspects were important when presenting, which others are instead less impactful and how to change one’s mistakes.
The training has been a great occasion for CEIPES to once again hone their staff skills thanks to the guide of professionals on the field, and soon the whole organisation will learn how to face any type of training, through an internal formation.
