MY SWEET SMART HOME – A great meeting in Bologna

The work on the project MY SMART SWEET HOME continues.

My Sweet Smart Home (Project number: 2021-1-DE02-KA220-VET-000033058), is a project focused on assuring a better quality of life and a increase on the autonomy of persons with disability giving them knowledges and training about the possibilities and solution offered by the use of domotics systems in their house.

The project consortium is composed by a multicultural and multidisciplinary team of 6 partners from 5 countries: Italy, Germany, Spain, Greece and Belgium. The partners of the project are expert in different field, from the assistance to disable person through the use of sensor and domotics in different fields.

On 26-27 of July the 2nd transnational meeting of the project was held in Bologna and hosted by AIAS, an organization with more than 50 years of history and experience on the assistance for people with disability.

During the meeting the partners had the opportunity to discuss the ongoing work and decide steps for the next actions to do so that will be possible to achieve on time and with good quality the aim of the project. At the moment, the consortium is focused on the first output of the project that is composed by a part of research that will bring to the production of a Guide to needs, problems, interests, and solutions in the own home for people with a physical, mental, sensory, neurological or organic disability.

CEIPES is working as dissemination manager of the project, curing the project identity with and curing the social pages and the website of the project.

During the meeting we had the opportunity to visit the Regional Centre for Assistive Technology in Emilia Romagna, a centre where the needs of the person with disability are assessed and valuated in order to offer them the best technological solution to their needs. In the centre is also possible to visit an example of assisted living facility, an entire house where home automation technologies make possible an independent and better living for a person with disabilities.

The meeting was greatly hosted from AIAS and thanks to the great cooperation of all the partners we had the possibility to see clear on the next action to take for the project success.
