One Goal Project: In Budapest for the first women’s football campaign

The first international Women Football Campaigns (WFC), organized as part of the One Goal project (project number: EAC-2020-0605), took place in Budapest – Hungary, on 29 and 30 January 2021. One Goal project aims to enhance skills of women football coaches and to create a methodology on training methods and psychological aspects to be used by interested sport staff.

The consortium, coordinated by ACTIVE YOUTH – Lithuania, involves: CEIPES – Italy; AUDELE – Uruguay; BAIS – Hungary and BSDA – Bulgaria.

Delegations, consisting of four representatives – 2 women football coaches and 2 project manager – from each partner country, met at Corner Hotel Angyalföld in Budapest to spend two days together in the name of football, women empowerment and cooperation.

During the first WFC qualified professionals trained the participants both psychological and innovative technical skills of football coaching. Additionally, women football coaches have put knowledge into practice and have learn how to involve youngsters into playing football.

The activities that have received extremely positive feedback from the coaches involved certainly include the marketing campaign and the football coaching masterclass. Finally, the entire consortium visited the very famous Ferencvàrosi stadium.

By working together during these two days, participating coaches have established a network among each other, creating an environment for them to communicate, share professional advice and experiences.

The first WFC also served as a transnational partner meeting for PM to supervise the implementation of the events and discuss the ongoing situation of the project.
