QUALTRACK – An interesting overview of adult education in Europe!

On 15th of April 2024 CEIPES ETS travels to beautiful Prague, Czech Republic, to talk about adult education and quality assessment systems. The project is ‘Qualtrack‘, co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme, the main aim of which is to create alternative quality assessment systems within adult education provider institutions.

The aim of the conference was to provide a general, European overview of how adult education works and how the governments of each country involved (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Greece, Croatia and Italy) manage the situation from the point of view of funding, facilities and regulations.

At the conference, which was attended by many Czech and European citizens, interesting reflections were presented by members of the Czech Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and experts in the field of adult education. The participants were extremely involved and interacted with the speakers to understand aspects of adult education from many angles.

Finally, the speakers were invited to answer questions about the project and its implementation in the various consortium countries, giving a clear perspective of what has already been done and what still needs to be done to ensure that the institutions involved in the testing phase of the project are able to obtain the Qualtrack certification that testifies that what the institution has to offer learners is of high quality.
