ECO BOOST – The first project newsletter is here!

The ECO-BOOST consortium announces the first edition of the project ECO-BOOST- Employment and Career Opportunities for Boosting Environmental Sustainability Training- newsletter, an exciting initiative aimed at sharing the most relevant updates in the project with stakeholders and the public.

This inaugural edition is dedicated to providing an overview of the project, outlining its objectives, detailing the activities planned for the 24-month collaboration period, and highlighting the anticipated outcomes by the project’s conclusion.

The ECO-BOOST project is designed to provide comprehensive support to trainers, educators, and learners across various vocational education and training domains, with a particular focus on those working or studying in construction, furniture and textile, healthcare, and electricity sectors.

Throughout the project’s duration,  the consortium will develop a Green Skills Toolbox and its corresponding Train the Trainer Handbook , based on the results of the ongoing needs assessment. Additionally, these tools will be tested with users from all the partner countries to ensure its effectiveness and value.

In the long term, the ECO BOOST expected results are to increase the supply and quality of tailored learning opportunities for low-skilled VET learners, particularly focusing on green skills education. It seeks to raise awareness among policymakers, trainers, learners, and employers about the importance of green skills, while also supporting the expansion of green skills jobs in line with the EU 2020 Strategy.
