CAMPLUS – Inclusion of migrants in a Business world

To become an entrepreneur, you need to be aware of your qualities, and know how to exploit them in a work’s world.

From 22 to 26 August, the CEIPES hosted in Palermo, Italy, the trainers of the CAMPLUS Project (2021-1-FR01-KA220-ADU-000028439) founded by the European Commission as part of the Erasmus + KA220-ADU program. – Partnership cooperation in adult education, which has a total duration of 36 months.

The Camplus project rises from the aim to deal differently with the question of the inclusion of migrants or displaced persons. In this 5-day of the Learning training and teaching activity, the trainees who participated in the activity focused on developing awareness of one’s abilities and qualities, and how to take advantage of them to open one’s own business plan, to aim for the complete independence of the individual.

The trainers proposed interesting activities that can be carried out both individually and in groups, favoring the intercultural approach to interface and open our minds to different realities, outside that of our country. The activities were progressive: the first day the aim was to create a safe zone, getting to know each other, up to the creation of business plans’ examples, based on our personal qualities.

Everything that trainees have learned has the purpose of being able to transmit this knowledge to migrants, so that they too, with a little awareness, can develop a business plan that can integrate them into the world of work in the country in which they live.

CEIPES thanks the coordinators of Comité Mondial pour les Apprentissages tout au long de la vie (France), and the participating partners Erbil Polytechnic University (Iraq), INSTITUTE OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT (Greece), PRIORNING / STICHTING EUROPEESCENTRUM WAARDEREN VAN LEREN (Netherlands), for allowing to host this session.
