From 11th to the 13th September 2019 the 5th Transnational Meeting of the DEM-Rail-PSS “Development of Education Modules for Railway Passenger Service Systems” project took place in London (UK) This time was the UK-Certified Knowledge Association to host us.

DEM-Rail-PSS funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ programme (KA2, strategic partnership for innovation and exchange of good practices in field of VET) aims to improve rail services between the EU and Turkey, through the creation of an ad-hoc training modules according to the European standards, developed by all partners and addressed to those who want to work in the rail passenger service system.

DEM-Rail-PSS involves 6 partners from different countries: the University of Anadolu Eskisehir (Turkey), the public railway company TCDD TASIMACILIK AS GENEL MUDURLUGU (Turkey), Training and Project Engineering Services Industry and Trade (Turkey), the EURO-CERT Academy (Germany), the UK-Certified Knowledge Association and CEIPES (Italy).

During the Meeting a lot of activities have been carried out by the consortium of partners. In particular, a great attention has been focused on the revision of the learning outcomes that each project partner had previously carried out, as well as on the managerial and dissemination aspects of the project.
A fantastic experience was also the visit to the London DLR, a private railway company that has been offering training courses for its staff for a long time.

The partners will meet again in Berlin on the 30th and 31th January 2020.
