SAMANTHA – The second webinar to end the pilot phase of the project

On the 15th of April 2022, CEIPES and CENTROCOT held on the MS Teams platform the second webinar of the pilot phase for the project SAMANTHA.

The webinar was given by Claudia Render, a Senior Materials Researcher from the company Materially Srl. She talked about how it is possible to adapt different materials, such as metal, plastic, metal and other types of materials to the 3D printer. During the mentoring phase, several products developed with the 3D printer were presented, especially in the habitat sector. In addition, during the webinar you were shown the different possibilities of manufacturing through 3D printing.

In the phase of questions and explanations for any possible doubts. Many of the participants have asked several interesting questions related to the additive manufacturing. Afterwards, the participants had the opportunity to ask for some clarifications regarding the platform and the material developed by the project consortium.

With this second webinar, CEIPES has completed the pilot phase of the project’s developed content.
