U.PIN – The potential impact of Sustainability in Education

On the 5th of March 2024, CEIPES ETS has taken part to the Final Meeting of U.Pin project, held online. This has been a great occasion for all partners to see together the accomplishments achieved during these two years, collect feedback from the partners, and recap the steps that follow the conclusion of a project.

Partners have also had the opportunity to share and confront the impact of the project on its target audience: young people and educators that will teach them about the European Green Deal and sustainability. Partners have indeed all completed their multiplier events, sharing the project results with teachers, educators and youth workers interested in the European approach to a sustainable transition and green practices. The feedback has been positive from all sides: specialist in education have appreciated the communicative power of U.Pin project and its potential impact in education.

The most important objective of the consortium has been the research for impactful ways to communicate with young people in the effort to spread knowledge about ecological policies. From this point of view, the videos, activities, and workshops that every partner was able to co-create with the youth involved in the project have been a successful communication instrument. As a matter of fact, we all know that social media are now the predominant instrument for communicating, and U.Pin project has been a fierce supporter of the hypothesis according to which they can also be spaces to learn.

CEIPES will continue working on the project’s objectives until and beyond its conclusion, to continue spreading the good practices and contents of its toolkit. The future is green, the future is youth!
