PRIDE NETWORK LEAD

Pride Network Lead is a project funded by the Erasmus+ programme and implemented by a consortium of 5 partners: Accademia IRSEI (Italy), Diversity Hub (Poland), OECON (Greece), Growth Coop (Spain) and CEIPES (Italy).  

On the 25th of January 2023, partners met online for the first time to start working together.  

The aim of the project is to create, promote and test a new standard for the professional role of “Pride Network Lead”, which will support the inclusion of LGBTQ+ people in the work environment and which will build openness for diversity and inclusion within the organisations. 

Specifically, the project will develop:  

• Professional profile, selection process and guidelines for the implementation of the role of Pride Network Lead;  
• Syllabus, Handbook & Tool-box for the Pride Network Lead  
• A microlearning film 
• Guidebook “Action Plan for implementing the Pride Network Lead” 
• A set of materials promoting the new role  

This meeting began with a presentation of the partnership organizations, followed by an introduction of the project and the related work plan made by the coordinator. Then, the leaders of each Work Package gave an overview of the activities that the consortium will implement. Moreover, the partners agreed to start working on the development of the material soon and they also set dates for the next meetings. 

This kick-off meeting was a great occasion to strengthen the cooperation between partner countries and to talk about the first steps of the project.
