SAMANTHA – The 6th transnational meeting

On the beginning of Aprile 2022, the consortium of SAMANTHA – SKILLS IN ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING FOR THE TOOLMAKING AND HABITAT SECTORS, has met in Celje, Slovenia.

SAMANTHA aims to develop a new training programme that includes high-tech T-shaped skills for a successful implementation of additive manufacturing (AM) within the curricula of highly qualified staff and is a project funded by the Erasmus+ programme, Key Action 2 (Strategic Partnership for Innovation and Exchange of good practices) and organised by a consortium of partners from different European countries: Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) (Germany), ILI -FRIEDRICH-ALEXANDER-UNIVERSITAET ERLANGEN NUERNBERG (Germany), AMUEBLA- AGRUPACION EMPRESARIAL INNOVADORA DE FABRICANTES DE MUEBLES Y AFINES DE LA REGION DE MURCIA (Spain), Cenfim – CENTRE DE DIFUSIO TECNOLOGICA DE LA FUSTA I DEL MOBLE DE CATALUNYA (Spain), CEIPES (Italy), Centrocot – CENTRO TESSILE COTONIERO E ABBIGLIAMENTO SPA (Italy) and TECOS Razvojni center orodjarstva Slovenije (Slovenia).

During the meeting partners discussed about the finalisation of the pilot phase by testing the SAMANTHA online platform, which is going to be finishing very soon. Also, this has been the occasion to reviews the last result that will a a strategic roadmap with priorities and an action list to the VET regulatory authorities to implement the SAMANTHA high-tech T-shaped Curriculum and developed tools inside of an official curriculum.

They visited the international industry fair 2022. This has allowed the partners to deepen the knowledge of companies in the Swedish industry and a direct approach with Additive Manufacturing.

The last Transnational Project Meeting will be held in middle July 2022 in Poland, hosted by ILI -FRIEDRICH-ALEXANDER-UNIVERSITAET ERLANGEN NUERNBERG.
