The third transnational meeting of the SYA – SPORT YOUNG AMBASSADORs project took place a few days ago in Bologna.

The partners, coming from Italy, with ScambiEuropei of Bologna and CEIPES, from Croatia with Rijeka Sport Association for Persons with Disabilities and from Sweden, coordinating partner, Eu Diaspora Council, met at the headquarters of the Municipality of Piazza Maggiore in the beautiful citizen, immersed in a context rich of art and beauty, to discuss the following steps of the project, on the basis of the activities already carried out and on the analysis of the results obtained so far.

In fact, what took place in Bologna was a MidTerm Evaluation, therefore an opportunity to make the necessary considerations on the progress of the project one year after its inception. SYA, co-financed by the European Union Erasmus+ programme, aims to promote sporting activity through volunteering and vice versa.

The young ambassadors, in fact, during the training held in Rijeka in Croatia last September, were trained by various experts and coaches to promote, through volunteering, sport for all, starting from the youngest, up to people with disabilities and Senior citizens.

The next transnational meeting, will be held in June in Sweden, hosted by the coordinator EU Diaspora Council, will be the last meeting and will mark the end of the project with, of course, the desire to start again with new and bigger proposals and adventures!
