T4PROIN

T4proIN project (Project Number: 2021-1-ES01-KA220-VET-000034879) is a two-year project started in February 2022 that will end in February 2024.  

During these months, project consortium (AiNP -Spain-, NARHU -Bulgaria-, CEIPES -Italy-, Digital Idea and UoP -Greece-), tried to fully understand the people with disabilities’ needs during their vacations. 

Thanks to some collective webinars and face-to-face meetings with different organisations which work in the inclusive tourism sector and with people with disabilities, T4proIN partners also tried to answer to questions: What type of training exists related to inclusive tourism? What types of entities give this information? What is the training offer? What are the training demands?  

Results showed that there are few training programmes about Inclusive tourism, available mainly in Italy and Bulgaria. Especially In Italy, the start-up CityFriend organised courses held by people with disabilities themselves, in order to be sure to represent real needs. 

AiNP and NARHU organised webinars with association of people with disabilities which let partners to deepen needs related to autism, for example, and people without arms. 

This activity, in conjunction with the previous needs analysis, was fundamental to start working on the next activity: the creation of the training materials that will make up the T4proIN training course.
