GAMMOPOLY – The game of life for adult education

The specific objectives of the project are:
- Increasing working competencies of adult educators (psychologists, psychotherapists, coach, career counselors, trainers, human resources specialists) in order to integrate adults which have lower levels of competencies , through a board game that simulates reality and crises situations in lifespan.
- Increasing the organizational capacity for the 5 European organisations for developing toolkits and instruments they can use in their daily work and extending the activities with adults with fewer opportunities on the labour market, promoting social inclusion.
The Gammopoly project foresees the development of the GAMMOPOLY board game and a consequent Test Phase of the GAMMOPOLY game implemented locally thanks to the collaboration of the partner organizations, this phase will be important to be able to discuss the results obtained during the test with the aim of improving the game and then make it accessible to the general public.
“GAMMOPOLY: The Game of Life” is a board game based on the systemic theory of the phases of the family life cycle, which considers that each person / family goes through successive stages of development throughout life and in transitions from one phase to another . Each person / family is challenged to acquire certain skills, life skills, etc. in order to face difficult situations and adapt to the new stage of development.
