On March 29, the EMPROVE project was presented to several professionals and stakeholders of interest, among whom were the DunAdenzia association, BioLab Palermo and the Maredolce Institute.
The event has revolved around a main theme: emotional support to caregivers and family members, as it is a very important theme in terms of the quality of care and welfare of users, being also one of the chapters addressed in the EMPROVE Manual.
Specifically, this theme has been presented to participants through practical activities, with the aim of creating connections between participants and making them understand more efficiently and dynamically the importance of effective communication and active listening as essential components in emotional support.
The main objective of the EMPROVE project is to support the quality of assistance for elderly by creating an innovative curriculum for the people who would like to train to become a Professional Relative.
