Starting in January, a group of volunteers, with the support of CEIPES ETS, initiated the project ‘DeconstrAct – Oltre le strutture sociali ‘, which belongs to the European Solidarity Corps programme, funded by the European Union.
One of the objectives of the project is to promote the values of diversity and inclusion, starting with the deconstruction of thoughts and behaviours based on the stereotipization the other.
To this end, the project will involve middle and high school students in four workshops on topics such as diversity, identity, bullying and sexuality.
The workshop activities, based on non-formal education methods, are aimed at creating a role-playing game for educational purposes, which will then be distributed in schools and available in a digital version.
The project represents an opportunity to promote moments of aggregation and socialization that can strengthen the social fabric and foster dialogue with the community and growth among peers, through the dissemination among young people of a culture of inclusion and appreciation of diversity.
