Objectives
- Combat and break down those forms of discrimination that can cause social, economic and educational rifts. Acting mainly in the school context, the main place where young generations are formed.
- Promote the creation of moments of aggregation and socialization that strengthen the social fabric and nurture dialogue with the community and growth among peers, through the dissemination among young people of a culture of inclusion and appreciation of diversity.
- Foster a conscious and responsible self-discovery through a series of non-formal educational workshops.
Activities
- Series of workshops with non-formal educational character, with adolescent participants aged 12 to 16 years old on 4 main topics: Bullying, Diversity, Identity and Sexuality. All workshops will feature icebreaker activities, guided discussions and interactive exercises with the help of various digital tools. The last meeting of each of the 4 workshops, is characterized by the creation, by the participants once they have fully understood the topic at hand, of 2 imaginary characters that will then be included in the form of picture cards in a board game created by the project’s creator group.
- Once the workshop and board game creation phase is completed, the evaluation, dissemination and use of the game will be carried out; here, too, the young participants from the previous activities will be the protagonists.
- Sharing of results, through the dissemination of social content related to the creation of the board game. At this stage it will be uploading the toolkit in digital format to be uploaded to the websites of CEIPES and the educational institutions involved.
- Presentation of the board game and the newly completed project at partner schools and CEIPES headquarters. In this activity, the students involved in the project will have the opportunity to share their feedback and opinions about the activities carried out with their fellow students and school teachers.
Results
- Foster the creation of moments of aggregation and socialization that strengthen the social network and nurture community dialogue and peer growth.
- Create and spread among young people a culture of inclusion and appreciation of diversity as a consequence of a process of self-determination of the individual.
- Foster the discovery of a conscious and responsible self.
