The representatives of the consortium of Upskilling VET institutions and healthcare professionals on promoting gender equality in healthcare provision [Project Number 2022-1-NO01-KA220-VET-000088213] met in Berlin on the 14th of May 2024.
The meeting has been a great opportunity to share the recent steps of the projects in the respective countries, Italy, Germany, Estonia, Turkey, and Norway. Gender bias in the health care systems has been proven to be pervasively present in each country, even if with local specificities.
Thus, a capacity-building program and a training program have been developed to raise awareness among healthcare professionals, VET trainers, and students of medicine or other sanitary professions.
