UP2YOUTH – The future it’s up to youth!

A wonderful city. A country rich in history and art. This was the setting that hosted the very first meeting of the Up2Youth project, co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme. The three-year project has just started, but the partners are already super-excited about the many activities of this project, which aims to combine civic engagement and urban culture in youth contexts.

The consortium, made up of partners from France (Bellidèe), Spain (Illipula), Germany (Kreisau-Initiative), Greece (United Societies of Balkans) and Italy (CEIPES ETS), met in Lille, France, for the first time and had the opportunity, during these cool but vibrant June days, to get to know each other and to discuss the next steps to be taken to ensure that the project reaches its full potential: guidelines for trainers in the world of culture and art, training for young people and professionals, and workshops full of activities related to active citizenship. What more could one ask for?

Hosted by the coordinator, the association Bellidée, based in Saint-Martin-Boulogne, located in the Haute-France region, the partners felt at home and had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture of the region and to get to know realities full of life and inspiration.

The project is thus taking its first steps on a path that is already full of adventures, and everyone knows they can count on truly competent and collaborative allies.
