Up2Youth – U2Y

The project aims to:

• Promote Urban Culture and Active Citizenship.
• Enhance Youth and Community Workers’ capacities.
• Foster social inclusion and diversity.
• Facilitate cross-border cooperation.
• Influence policy and decision making.

The project will engage in the following activities:

• 3 Cultural Visits
• 1 Training for professionals/artists
• Developing of training modules
• 1 Urban Culture Toolkit
• 5 Cultural Events
• 4 Workshops with professionals about urban culture
• 4 Workshops with youth about urban culture

The project will yield the following results:

• Youth-led cultural projects that address social issues and promote active citizenship.
• Capacity-building workshops for youth workers focused on skills development in areas e.g. project management, cultural event planning and intercultural communication.
• Transnational cultural exchanges to enable participants to experience and learn from diverse urban cultures and citizenship practices.
• An urban culture toolkit.
