Objectives
The project aims to educate children and youth 6-14 years old about good everyday practices to foster physical and cognitive health at an early age. The main goal is to address the severe changes caused by CoVID19 crisis, ensuring an adequate quality of life and psycho-physical health by developing an integrated approach in which synergetic effects will be realized through physical activity and healthy diet, and at the same time increasing digital skills and reduction of global warming causes with the use of organic and local food supply.
Activities
Analysis of the existing scientific data and creation of State of art, development of methodology and professional literature, and education of professional staff. The pilot program consists of an open-source web platform with all the listed materials free for download.
Results
The expected results include, but are not limited to, the development of socialization, self-esteem, the reduction of stress and disease rate of children and youth with disabilities by providing adequate education to professional staff while increasing awareness about self-care and environment. The open-source web platform and educational program will be maintained after the project completion and used in future projects.
