MECOS RNET – Mini Ecosystems Regional Networks

The objectives of the project are the following:

• Supporting sustainable development and growth through the creation of mini entrepreneurial ecosystems in territorial communities
• Fostering of self-employment and entrepreneurial skills, as well as developing digital literacy of the local communities’ population, seen as essential instruments to territorial and sustainable growth
• Empowering vulnerable groups such as Youth (aged 18-35) and Silver Age (aged over 50), especially in rural areas
• Empowering local communities
• Promoting an eco-conscious vision of local development
• Promoting digital literacy among adults of local communities

• Extensive research (survey, need analysis, etc.) on local communities’ particular needs;
• Provision of a smart learning environment;
• High quality digital learning opportunities for the involved target groups;
• Support to the creation and development of mini ecosystems among local communities

• A Business Education for Entrepreneurs training course
• An Entrepreneurship for All Massive Online Open Course (MOOC)
• An International Training and Consulting Centre specialized platform
