On the 1st and 2nd February, the KTM – ‘KidsTUMove goes Europe – cordiallyfit’ consortium, met virtually for a very important Scientific Project Meeting. This event marked a significant milestone in the project, bringing together Consortium Partners to discuss achieved outcomes and future steps.
The focus was on reviewing the Systematic Review and Overview paper, important documents addressing sports interventions and programs for children and adolescents with chronic diseases and evaluating their impact on physical, psychological, and social well-being.
The consortium shared insights and feedback on the completion of the first stage of the project (Applied Research), setting the stage for the development of the “Trainer Manual“. This manual will be based on the research findings and will be presented to coaches across partner countries. The manual will undergo testing and evaluation during an event involving children with chronic diseases, dedicating a day to sports and highlighting the benefits for these children.
The manual will serve as a comprehensive guide for coaches throughout the day.
