CEIPES is in Greece, specifically in Thessaloniki, to greet at the final project meeting the partners of a wonderful journey called ‘D.B.Y. – Directed By YOU(th)‘, co-funded by the European Union’s CERV (Citizens, Equals, Rights and Values) programme.
CEIPES met the partners for the last time within the context of the project, discussing the last steps before the project activities finish, at the end of April 2024, and about the international festival and its preparation. The partners were welcomed by the host, EDUACT, who ensured that everyone had a lovely stay in the city and organised an effective and efficient meeting.
The consortium, made up of partners from Italy (CEIPES as coordinator), Spain, Bulgaria, Austria, Ireland, Romania and Greece, worked hard over the last two years to bring the project to high standards and let young people from all over Europe to express their ideas on issues of civic engagement thanks to the innovative tool of participatory documentary. One of the results of the project was the creation of 70 short movies, 14 of which were chosen to participate in the final event held on the same day during the international project festival. Thus, an educational and highly stimulating experience that will remain, forever, in the hearts of each of the partners.
