BECOME BUSY 2.0

CEIPES hosted the Learning Teaching and Training Activities of the project in Palermo

From 17 to 21 October 2022, CEIPES hosted participants from Spain, Cyprus, Greece, and the Netherlands for the second LTTA of the Become Busy 2.0 project.

Become Busy 2.0 is an Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships (Project No: 202-3-EL02-KA205-006663) for youth project that supports the initial stage of maturing innovative ideas through education, mentoring, consulting, and networking activities. The Project will contribute to growing ideas into a viable business by developing a virtual pre-incubator, a MOOC platform, and a digital library for youth.

The project will end in February 2023. It has 4 different Intellectual Outputs (IOs) and aims at promoting entrepreneurship education and social entrepreneurship activities among young people; promoting, engaging connecting and empowering them; promoting quality, innovation and recognition of youth work.

The participants underwent a five-day training, during which they took part in theoretical lectures and a workshop for the creation and development of business ideas.

After a brainstorming phase based on design thinking techniques, the participants formed three teams, which then worked on a draft business plan. On the last day, each of them presented their idea, demonstrating that they had learned the theoretical concepts and had the tools to be able to develop their own business soon.

The feedback received shows that the topic of the project is highly appreciated by the young participants (aged 18 to 30), and that there is a need for specific training for the development of an entrepreneurial mindset in contexts of low employment opportunities.

Parallel to this activity, the consortium is actively working on the realisation of project outputs, such as the formulation of e-Business Plans and the development of prototypes, the upgrade of the Become Busy Platform with Virtual Pre-Incubating tools of business, and the educational material for the digital library.
