From May 21st to 23rd, as part of the training activities for staff mobilities that the organization continuously offers, CEIPES ETS organized and hosted at its facilities the training course “Fundamental of management for civil society organizations”.
The course was attended by representatives of small organizations situated in Sweden representing ethnic minorities in different local communities and supported by Studiefrämjandet Uppsala Västmanland entity. During the course, insights on various topics such as managing civil socity organizations focusing on strategy, business plan, financial and human aspects, mentoring and evaluation processes and advocacy, were addressed, using different educational methodologies such as team work, learning by doing and case of study.
Participants throughout the course were very active and motivated to learn new tools to improve their organizations, and they particularly appreciated the proposed activities giving positive feedback at the evaluation stage. Some of them declared the meeting to be “ a lifechanging experience” which stimulated personal and professional enrichment. Indeed it was the occasion for a successful mutual exchange and development and for further enhancing the fruitful cooperation with Studiefrämjandet entity.
