On the 12th of June 2024, the consortium got reunited for their first official online meeting. It was a great opportunity for partners to analyse the national good practices examples found during the research phase and to see how the ACTIVATOR project offers a innovative approach for the adult learning sector, as it was not easy for partners to find initiatives for the trainers of older adults.
In fact, one of the main objectives of the project is to promote non formal education as a fundamental tool in the education of adults and as complementary to formal education.
During the meeting partners were able to discuss the activities and progress done so far and the specifications for the development of the next project activities, which consist in the creation of the training contents for the ACTIVATOR Manual, as well as starting o the preparation of the e-learning platform.
The consortium seemed to be very enthusiastic and committed on the development of this innovative proposal in order to help on the improvement of the adult education offer, specially focused on the involvement of older adults in Citizen Science.
