SEE BRIDGE – The consortium is proud to announce the launch of its Open Call

The SEE BRIDGE project consortium is proud to announce the launch of its Open Call, a pioneering initiative to support social economy SMEs (including start-ups) operating in energy-intensive industries and their value chains. This initiative will provide financial support and resources to help social economy SMEs transition to greener and more digital operations, thereby increasing their competitiveness and impact.

Under this call, social economy SMEs operating in energy-intensive industries and located in EU Member States, European Economic Area countries and EU associated countries are invited to participate by submitting their projects. Funded activities include, but are not limited to, business support services providing expert advice to improve business operations, consultancy services to assist with certification or labelling (including intellectual property rights), participation in events focusing on CBAM, digital and green transition issues, and in-company training on the same topics.

Selected applicants will receive a lump sum grant of between EUR 4,000 and 8,000 for the implementation of their proposed activities. This financial support aims to enable SMEs to adopt more sustainable and digital practices, thereby increasing their overall effectiveness and contribution to a greener economy.

In addition to the financial support for the selected applicants, the SEE SMEs that have responded to the Open Call will be offered a tailor-made acceleration program focused on project management, networking, business plan development and market research to improve operational efficiency and sustainable practices, as well as the opportunity to network with experts and professionals by participating in SEE BRIDGE events. These events will provide invaluable connections and insights to further support SMEs in their transition to more sustainable and digital operations.

The submission of proposals is open from July 1 to October 1 through the F6S platform and must be in English, following the procedure described on the project website. To further assist applicants, there will be two public online webinars with Q&A sessions where participants can ask questions about the SEE BRIDGE project, the Open Call and the application process .

All details about the SEE BRIDGE Open Call are available on the project website and on the project’s social media channels, on Facebook and Linkedin
