ENTERPRISE – Students and teachers from I.I.S.S. Pio La Torre travel to Portugal to attend the Learning, Training and Teaching Activities

From the 7th to the 13th of January 2022 students and teachers from I.I.S.S. Pio La Torre were in Aveiro, Portugal, to join the activities provided by AEVA – Associacao Para a Educacao e Valorizacao da Regiao de Aveiro with regard to the project implementation of ENTERPRISE, ENTrepreneurship Experience and Rising PRofessional In Sustainable Europe.

Unfortunately, the partners from Norway could not travel to join the activities due to covid-19 pandemic.

The project aims at stimuating cooperation among the staff from the educational organisation involved into project activities and professionals operating in the fields of sustainability, promoting new teaching strategies and innovation with regard to entrepreneurial topics.

AEVA has involved the Escola Profissional de Aveiro into ENTERPRISE implementation and I.I.S.S. students and teachers had the opportunity to meet Portuguese school’s staff and students to confront about the already held activities and the topics addressed by the project.

In particular, students from both schools focused on hands-on practical training in groups and on learning more about creativity; this opportunity, hence, stimulated students to find new solutions to already existing issues or demand, by providing them the tools to design and achieve imaginative solutions. Also, students had the occasion to visit a sustainable business.

During these days students also tested the Module 8 on Financial Literacy for Entrepreneurs; this phase stimulated students to create intercultural groups, in this way their problem solving, communication skills and transversal capabilities have been enhanced while learning.
