EMPROVE

The first steps to empower the professional relatives in Europe

On the 14th and 15th December 2022, the Kick-Off Meeting (KOM) of the European Commission funded project “EMPROVE” (2022-1-RO01-KA220-VET-000085071) took place in Timisoara (Romania), hosted by the Elena si Marius Tutunaru association. This new project is part of the program Erasmus+ KA220-VET – Cooperation partnerships in vocational education and training.

The EMPROVE project aims to empower the professional relatives in Europe. More specifically, the objectives of this project are:

  • To support the quality of assistance for elderly by creating an innovative curriculum for the people who would like to train to become a Professional Relative.
  • Contributing to innovation in vocational education and training.
  • Increasing the flexibility of opportunities in vocational education and training.
  • Addressing digital transformation through development of digital readiness, resilience and capacity.

The EMPROVE consortium is composed by 5 European partners from 4 different countries (Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Italy).

Apart from knowing the beautiful city of Timisoara and knowing each other for the first time, at this meeting the different partners had the opportunity to lay the foundations of development of the project. In order to run a good organization, they discussed about different important topics such as the project activities, the budget that should be invested on them, the tasks of each partner and the expectations of the project results.

Once the project management details have been clarified, the next step is to begin with the development of the project activities, the first being the creation of an EMPROVE Training Methodology.

In addition, the consortium is beginning to create the visual identity of the project and the social media channels, that will be available soon.
