CAMPLUS – Final partners meeting in Düsseldorf

The consortium of CAMPUSEmpowerment for migrants from camps to integration – project gathered for its final meeting in Düsseldorf on the 1st and 2nd, of October 2024. This meeting marked a significant milestone as it brought together partners to reflect on the achievements of this three-year-long Erasmus+ (E+) project.

The local partner, Westdeutscher Handwerkskammertag (WHKT), hosted the meeting in person and organized a well-structured agenda that allowed participants to discuss and summarize the project’s overall results. Key accomplishments were reviewed, including the various deliverables such as the manuals, training for trainers and migrants, good practices from the refugee camps in Larissa Greece, and Erbil, in Iraq, and the development of the E-learning platform. These tools and resources were essential in enhancing the skills and knowledge of migrants and refugees, preparing them for a process of inclusion in which they have an active role.

In addition, to reviewing these achievements, the consortium delved into discussions on the dissemination of the project’s outcomes beyond its official conclusion. Sustainability was a key focus, with partners exploring potential strategies to ensure the tools and resources developed during the project would continue to be available and impactful for trainers, refugees, and stakeholders in the future.

The collaboration over the past three years has not been without its challenges, but the consortium expressed pride in the strong partnership that emerged. Despite occasional obstacles, each partner fulfilled their respective responsibilities, and the shared journey proved successful. By working together, the consortium was able to overcome difficulties and deliver on its promises, ensuring that the project’s objectives were met.
