BIOS4YOU AR 2.0 – Bringing Bio-STEM to Life in Palermo

The BIOS4YOU AR 2.0 Erasmus+ project consortium has held its second meeting to advance the development and implementation of innovative educational practices aimed at making bio-STEM subjects more engaging through the power of Augmented Reality (AR) technology.

The meeting took place in Palermo, Italy, on the 25th and 26th of September 2024, hosted by the Italian partners CEIPES and University of Palermo. These two days were pivotal for the consortium members, providing an opportunity to review the project’s progress, discuss upcoming milestones, and refine strategies for delivering key results. Each partner organization contributed valuable insights, ensuring a highly productive exchange of ideas and collaboration.

The main goal of the meeting was to evaluate and share the current status of the project’s outputs. To date, the project has successfully completed its first two phases, providing educators with the necessary resources and training materials to integrate AR into their classrooms, specifically for STEM education.

Additionally, the consortium is pleased to announce that the online AR training program for teachers has had an encouraging start, with high participation rates. The training is expected to be completed by mid-December 2024.
