The Erasmus+ project CAMPLUS – Empowerment for Migrants – From Camps to Integration has successfully concluded in October 2024, marking three years of fruitful collaboration among seven international partners, including CEIPES ETS.
With the goal of enhancing migrant inclusion and empowerment, CAMPLUS developed tailored training resources in entrepreneurship, leadership, and personal development, specifically for trainers and operators working with refugees. Directly implemented in refugee camps in Greece and Iraqi Kurdistan, these resources helped residents build practical skills for social and professional integration. The project produced several valuable results, including a comprehensive Toolbox with a manual for trainers and a set of documents allowing adult trainers to appropriate the specific theme of migrant learners / living in a camp, and thus to support emerging projects, from the idea to the realization. In addition, the consortium has developed video showcasing successful entrepreneurial initiatives within the camps.
The CAMPLUS Handbook further supports lifelong learning and employment readiness, while an E-learning Platform offers interactive tools in multiple languages for continued personal and professional development.
During the final project meeting, partners focused on ensuring the sustainability of these resources, aiming to make them accessible long-term for migrants, trainers, and stakeholders. CAMPLUS remains an inspiring achievement, and though the project has ended, its resources and networks will continue to foster migrant empowerment and inclusion, making a lasting impact across Europe and beyond.
