INCLU-AGEING – CEIPES hosts the final event to promote the project

On March 29, 2024, CEIPES office in Palermo, Italy, played host to the culminating event of the “Inclu-ageing: Training of family members and guardians for inclusion of ageing adults with disabilities” project. The event has been planned in collaboration with BioLab and it has seen the participation of experts and associations in the disability field, such as DunAdenzia. The occasion marked the presentation of the project’s outcomes to the target group in the local context of Palermo.

CEIPES, as the organization entity, took centre stage to showcase the project’s achievements, reflecting the collaborative efforts and expertise of the consortium. At the heart of the event were the unveiling of Toolkit and the Parental Education Guidebook, essential resources developed to aid family members and guardians in fostering inclusivity for ageing adults with disabilities.

Participating members engaged in interactive sessions, where they delved into the educational videos produced under the project. Moreover, the policy recommendation report, aligning with national and international laws, was presented, enriching the discourse on inclusive ageing practices.

A significant component of the event was the demonstration of the HUB e-learning platform, as well as the performing of activities considered as recommendations in its contents.

Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, with an evident enthusiasm for accessing and utilizing the comprehensive suite of deliverables.
