October 31, 2024 marks the conclusion of the ‘Youth-R.E.C.’ project, co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program. The final meeting of the consortium took place in Thessaloniki, Greece, hosted by the Greek partner EDUACT, to discuss the results achieved and the final steps to be taken.
‘Youth-R.E.C.’ has provided young people with an innovative multimedia tool to express their opinions and make their voices heard. The achievements, such as the screening of short films on civic themes during the international festival, are a source of great satisfaction for all involved partners.
The project consortium is therefore pleased to announce that all results have been fully achieved: the manuals, workshops in each of the partnership countries, and both local and international festivals have been a triumph across the board, enabling many young people throughout Europe to make their voices heard on civic engagement issues. The efforts of all partners (from Italy, Austria, Spain, Bulgaria, Greece, Ireland and Romania) are commendable, and everyone impacted by the project’s activities (not just the youth, but the entire civil society) has unanimously confirmed the value of a tool like the video documentary, capable of expressing many complex concepts in a short amount of time.
As the project comes to a close, the official social media channels and website remain invaluable sources of news and updates. Follow them to stay informed about the final results and the legacy this project will leave behind.
Thank you to all who contributed to making ‘Youth-R.E.C.’ a great success!
