On the 25th and 26th January 2024, CEIPES ETS has participated to the Final Meeting of Water is Life project in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia. The meeting has been a great occasion for the consortium to review every step of what was accomplished so far, to organise the next step for the conclusion of the project, and to celebrate the results.
One of the main results of the project has been central to the meeting: the Water Course Curriculum. This curriculum, created by the Turkish partner, collects all the good practices, activities and techniques that were created by the consortium during the entirety of the project. It includes theoretical sections, exercises, lessons and activities that can be applied by professors who want to teach about water and its importance in middle school.
The contents do not revolve entirely on scientifical subjects but apply the concept of eco sustainability and the protection of water resources to every field of education. The mission of Water is Life project is exactly this: to show how water is so important that can be part of every study curriculum.
By observing all the possible appliances of water and learning by playing, students will learn how to respect the environment and give value to water, life and the ecosystem.
This meeting has been one of the last steps of the project, but CEIPES mission to protect water and the environment continues. Water is life!
