Objectives
- To transfer the LTC approach to participating Member States
- To embed the LTC approach in local health and social systems
- To establish a national plan for further roll-out of LTC implementation in the participating countries
Activities
- Develop training materials and train professionals in the Let’s Talk about Children (LTC) method in project partner countries
- Develop materials for trainers and train LTC trainers in project partner countries
- Support the dissemination of the LTC method in project partner countries
- Implementation of LTC methodology in primary and secondary school settings, providing a tool for home-school collaboration for parents and teachers to better understand the psychosocial needs of the children at home and school
Results
- Improve stakeholders’ understanding on the need to mainstream mental health promotion and support within adult health and social care services as well as education to support parenting and children’s development
- Grow a network of national and local authorities’ representatives as well as other relevant stakeholders supporting the adoption of LTC in local and national strategies and policies
- Raise the public awareness of the importance of acting to promote, support and protect mental health of children and families
