CEIPES ETS delves into the world of Gardner’s multiple intelligences, a psychological theory that states that human beings are not all intelligent in the same way, but that everyone develops a different type of intelligence based on their aptitudes, inclinations and often their intelligence is the result of a combination of one or more different intelligences. Fascinating? Very.
That is why the Intellectual Multiverse project, co-funded by the EU Erasmus+ programme in the context of the KA220+ strategic partnerships, aims at the creation, testing and consolidation of methodologies and activities based on the theory of multiple intelligences to be applied in the context of adult education. This was the main aim of the first international project training, which was held in Iasi, Romania, from 15 to 20 July 2024. In a sunny town, 15 participants explored the theory of intelligences and created, organised, and tested activities based on some of these intelligences, such as intra- and inter-spatial intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligence, or procedural intelligence.
The participants, from Spain, Portugal, Romania and Italy, were thus faced with interesting challenges related to intelligence and certainly learnt something more about themselves.
An educational and enlightening experience which, however, does not end here: the second project training, during which other intelligences will be dealt with, is already planned for next October in Salamanca, Spain. Therefore, stay in touch and get ready for a multiverse of news!
