XR SKILLS

On the 9th and 10th January 2023, the third encounter between the partners of the European Commission funded project “XR_Skills” (2021-1-SE01-KA220-VET-000030106) took place in Porto (Portugal), hosted by Virtual Campus. This project is part of the program Erasmus+ KA220-VET – Cooperation partnerships in vocational education and training.

The XR_Skills consortium is composed by 6 European partners from 5 different countries (Portugal, Sweden, France, Greece and Italy).

XR_Skill Project aims at fostering teachers and educators soft skills through an improvement of University curriculum for undergraduates and post-graduates psychologists soft skills in the use of Virtual Reality for training skills.

The partners met in the beautiful and welcoming city of Porto, specifically at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, where they got down to work, dialogue and collaborating in the progress of different aspects of the project.

They have organized the following steps for the development of the e-learning platform with the contents made in previous phases, in addition to the testing and implementation of the virtual reality game.

The game takes place on the stage of a school, where players encounter different situations to solve that can be found regularly in the school environment, where participants can improve their soft skills.
