UPCOMING WOMEN – Second Testing Phase Concluded

On the 21th and 27th of February, CEIPES concluded the testing phase of the second project results of the UPCOMING WOMEN project.

The project aims to empower and develop the capacities of low-skilled women in vulnerable situations in order to become more globally competent and thus promote their social and labor inclusion.

The project also targets up-skilling professionals by equipping them with digital tools and globally competent, gender-based mentoring methodologies to improve their work with low-skilled women in vulnerable situations and better support them.

The second project results are Experimental Workshops that were tested by a group of 15 low-skilled women and a group of 10 professionals working with low-skilled women. The women participated in the workshops on entrepreneurship to improve personal skills such as the ability to work in a team, use the Business Model Canvas and acquire knowledge to create new projects. In the end, they gave their impressions of the workshops’ structure and their usefulness. The professionals evaluated the accuracy of the workshops and the usefulness of the project outcome within their work, providing insights and suggestions for improvement.
