UPCOMING WOMEN – First Testing Phase Concluded

On the 16th and 20th of February, CEIPES concluded the testing phase of the first project result of the UPCOMING WOMEN project.

The project aims to empower and develop the capacities of low-skilled women in vulnerable situations in order to become more globally competent and thus promote their social and labor inclusion.

The project also targets up-skilling professionals by equipping them with digital tools and globally competent, gender-based mentoring methodologies to improve their work with low-skilled women in vulnerable situations and better support them.

The first project result is an interactive microlearning course that was tested by a group of 15 low-skilled women and a group of 8 professionals working with low-skilled women. The women participated in the course modules on active participation, empathy, and critical thinking and gave their impressions of the course structure and the use of the platform. The professionals evaluated the accuracy of the interactive course and the usefulness of the project outcome within their work, providing insights and suggestions for improvement.

The next step will be the testing of the experimental workshops.
