U.PIN – The project was launched in Vienna

U.Pin: EU Green Deal pops up in future generations newsfeed” is an Erasmus+ project co-funded by the European Commission (Project Number: 2021-2-AT01-KA220-YOU-000047990). The project aims to raise awareness on climate change among young people, inform about solutions on different levels and empower them to become active in the fight against climate change. For this purpose, appealing, contextualised and applicable information on climate change and the EU Green Deal in innovative formats will be designed. The project will utilize social media to spread this information and the project results (TikTok, Instagram and YouTube). The project doesn’t just aim to develop and design this content for the youth, but also with them.

The first meeting of the project took place in Vienna on the 3rd and 4th of May 2022, hosted by the coordinating organisation of the project: ÖJAB (from Austria), and attended by the other partner organisations: CEIPES (Italy), CSR Solutions (Norway), and YES Forum (Germany). The management of the project was discussed, as well as the details of each stage of the project, especially planning all its first steps.

The meeting was productive and the partners look forward to fruitful collaboration over the two years of the project’s length.

The coorindator, ÖJAB, also organised a wonderful walking guided tour of the city after the meeting, as a chance for the partners to enjoy their time there, learn about Vienna’s rich history and culture, and to get to know each other better.
