The 3rd and last Transnational Meeting of the project “Inclusion for healthy generation” (Project Number: 613538-EPP-1-2019-1-BG-SPOSSCP) took place on 20 and 21 September 2021, in Blagoevgrad (Bulgaria).

The project, co-funded by the European Commission within the Erasmus+ Sport SCP programme, aims to:

  • encourage the social inclusion of people of any age, gender and background through their participation in sport activities;
  • raise awareness among target groups of the key role of sport in education for a healthy lifestyle and in the health promotion.

The consortium, coordinated by Active Bulgarian Society – ABS (BULGARIA), involves: CEIPES – (ITALY); Association “Active Youth” – (LITHUANIA); Asociatia Tinerilor cu Initiativa Civica – A.T.I.C. (ROMANIA); Swimming Club “Pirin” (BULGARIA).

The Transnational Meeting gathered 20 young athletes coming from different partner countries. In particular, CEIPES provided some Sport Sciences students and Instructors of different sports with the opportunity to go to Bulgaria.  During the two-day meeting, the participants took part in different sport events: swimming lessons, HIIT training, outdoor group activities and team building sessions.  The project “Inclusion for healthy generation” will end on September 30, 2021, so this last TM was an opportunity to evaluate and analyse the actions carried out so far.  To conclude, the consortium looked at the possibility of developing new project ideas, building on the achievements and results of the “Inclusion for healthy generation” project itself.
