The project DISEMEX is successfully proceeding!

Indeed, on 29th an 30th January 2019, it took place the III Transnational Meeting of the project, that was hosted by the Bulgarian partner “Bulgarian Development Agency” in Sofia.

The project, fund by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ program (KA2, Strategic partnership for the exchange of good practices in field of Adult Education), is carried out by a consortium composed by 9 partners: INTAMT Group from Germany (the project coordinator), CEIPES from Italy, ACTA Centre from Romania, 36,6 Competence Centre from Scotland – United Kingdom, 36,6 Competence Centre from Poland, OZARA d.o.o. from Slovenia, Bulgarian Development Agency from Bulgaria, Governorship of İzmir and Engelsiz Toplum Oluşturma Derneği (ETOD) from Turkey.

The aim of this project is to promote an exchange of good practices in the field of people with disability work engagement.

For this reason, during the meeting in Sofia the partners didn’t only talk about the project activities, but they also have experienced some of the local good practices that operate in the Bulgarian capital.

The first day of meeting the partners have known the association Maria’s World Foundation. Their mission is to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and the life of their families and help them achieve their full potential as individuals by providing access to high-quality services, developmental training and possibilities for gainful employment that are suited to their needs.

In particular, the lunch was organized by their own catering service “Bon Appétit”, and it was so delicious!

The day after the partners have known the foundation “Listen Up”, for the inclusion of deaf people in the Labor market.

In the following months all the partners will select some of the best example of their city, in field of work engagement of people with disability, that will take part of a final European guide to the best practices, that will be promoted around Europe.

The next step will be the IV Transnational Meeting that will take place in Izmir, Turkey.
