SIEP 2.0

The importance of Role Models in social contexts

One of the methodologies that SIEP 2.0 (621487-EPP-1-2020-1-ES-EPPKA3-IPI-SOC-IN) apply is called Role Model. It focuses on expanding the positive values that SIEP aims to promote through figures that are close to you, that can employ a similar communication format.

For these activities, the organisations involve the participants of the transnational training held in Poland within the localities’ environment. With the help of trainers, the participants explain the project topics, the methodologies as they experienced them, and carry out the activities tested during the training. In this way, students, teachers, and parents involved into the activities can share peer-to-peer what they learnt and how can be implemented in their contexts.

Following these moments, the organisations – CEIPES, REGIONALNE CENTRUM WOLONTARIATU, MORE MOSAIC, ROSTO SOLIDARIO and BIDERBOST, BOSCAN & ROCHIN – will plan the SIEP Labs to disseminate to internal and external stakeholders what it was done, learnt, and developed during the training sessions within the localities involved. Role models will work as testimonials and bridges between different target, both from institutional and social realms.
