SAMANTHA – The pilot phase continues

On the 31st of March 2022, CEIPES held the face-to-face pilot for the project SAMANTHA.

Students from the VET high school “Pio La Torre” were invited to CEIPES to continue learning about Additive Manufacturing and transversal skills.

The main objective of the pilot was to transfer the knowledge about the 3D modelling process, the various types of technologies in AM and everything related to transversal skills: creative and innovative process, verbal and non-verbal communication and how to manage the development of a project.

Also, it was a great opportunity to share the knowledge with the participants and they could share their expectations on how this curriculum will support their working career in the future

CEIPES experts provided all the necessary information to deepen the topic by giving to all of them some suggestion on how to implement the 3D printing technology in their curricula and how, through transversal skills, they can approach the working environment in a more secure way.

Moreover, students will continue the testing phase through the SAMANTHA online platform developed by the project consortium. So, they can go deepen their knowledge on T-shaped skills.

The pilot was very interesting, and all the participants were glad to participate in it.

CEIPES in collaboration with the partner CENTROCOT is organized in the coming weeks the second webinar that will close the testing phase.
