On the 15th March 15 the fourth transnational meeting of SAMANTHA project (project number: 2019-1-DE02-KA202-006458) took place on a virtual conference organized by partners.

SAMANTHA is a project financed by: Erasmus+ programme, Key Action 2 (Strategic Partnership for Innovation and Exchange of good practices) and it is held by a consortium of partners that are coming from different European countries: Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) (Germany), ILI -FRIEDRICH-ALEXANDER-UNIVERSITAET ERLANGEN NUERNBERG (Germany), AMUEBLA- AGRUPACION EMPRESARIAL INNOVADORA DE FABRICANTES DE MUEBLES Y AFINES DE LA REGION DE MURCIA (Spain), Cenfim – CENTRE DE DIFUSIO TECNOLOGICA DE LA FUSTA I DEL MOBLE DE CATALUNYA (Spain), CEIPES (Italy), Centrocot – CENTRO TESSILE COTONIERO E ABBIGLIAMENTO SPA (Italy) e TECOS Razvojni center orodjarstva Slovenije (Slovenia).

The aim of SAMANTHA is to develop a novel training program addressing the mismatched high-tech T-shaped skills for proper implementation of AM in the value chains of such sectors through high qualified workers.

In the first place the coordinator KIT and the host CENFIM welcomed to all partners and showed what will be the points in agenda to face during the meeting.

Then the KIT illustrated the state of development of the material and peer review in IO2/ A3 which precisely provides for the development of the offline training content. The content produced by the partners is in excellent condition, some of them have already done the modules theoretically and developed a video on the introduction of each module that the user will study on the platform.

Regarding the structure of the online platform, it is in the final state in fact it will be possible to upload the content before the end of June. KIT & ILI-FAU showed how the platform will be structured for users who want to register (IO3), deciding that a further meeting will be held to go into the details of the platform according to the pilot that will be held (IO4).

At a later stage, the TECOS & AMUEBLA partners, leaders in the dissemination activities, updated the situation on which target groups the project is most intended for. Obviously, they recalled all the activities foreseen in the strategic plan, such as: spread the project on social media, and follow the editorial plan.

After the two well-done presentations of the above, the partners moved forward to talk about management and financial issues, and to close the meeting by talking about monitoring and evaluation of the project.

The meeting was a great occasion for all the partners to reinforce their partnership, their capacity to work in teams and to adapt to each others’ needs and ways of responding to the teamwork.

Next monthly meeting is set to be on April 12th, 2021.
