RE-WRITE

New steps forward, more and more opportunities

We are in Portugal, in a warm and welcoming Lisbon.

CEIPES and the other partners of the ‘RE-WRITE‘ project consortium met on 9th and 10th of January for the umpteenth time to discuss together what has been done so far and what still needs to be done.

The project, which aims to create new job opportunities in the creative and audio-digital sector for groups at risk of marginalisation (such as ex-prisoners, migrants or the elderly), has reached a very important turning point: after concluding a long pilot phase, in fact, two new digital resources have been created, whose fundamental aim is to help anyone wishing to start their own business with radio works by providing practical advice and examples in the public and private sector and through the correct use of social media for commercial purposes.

CEIPES is at the forefront this time too: after having helped create the resources and having concluded the pilot phase representing Italy, the online resources have finally also been translated into Italian and will soon be available on the project’s official website.

At the meeting in Lisbon, however, it was not only the pilot phases of the online resources that were discussed: the next tasks to be performed were set and what still needs to be done was discussed together.

The project is going well and will soon come to a conclusion: the final project meeting will be held in Timisoara, Romania, in April and will coincide with an international conference involving an international audience.
